Welcome to The Peninsula
The Peninsula sits on a quiet road in a friendly neighbourhood a short stroll from downtown Sidney-by-the-Sea. Like its sister residence Norgarden, The Peninsula is family-owned and impeccably maintained. Tastefully appointed suites, gourmet meals, 24-hour concierge, activities, and a wide variety of outings all contribute to a first-class experience. The Peninsula is a premier retirement community for those who insist on the very best.
Outside, lush gardens and a wide veranda surround the striking and colourful Arts & Crafts style building. Inside, The Peninsula's distinctive decor is warm and elegant, inviting you to relax with family and both old and new friends. Read a book or play a game of cards in the cozy library, get pampered at the in-house spa, or settle in for a chat in front of the large stone fireplace.
The Peninsula offers bright and spacious studio, one bedroom/one bathroom and two bedroom/one- or two-bathroom rental suites, which include kitchenettes and generous in-suite storage. Some suites also have lovely balconies. All suites have peaceful views, some of the surrounding mountains and some of the tranquil gardens on the lower floors.
The Peninsula offers many accommodating features that will assist you in living your life on your terms. At The Peninsula, when you leave your house, we offer you a home.

What our residents are saying
Thank you from the bottom of my heart, for maintaining such a kind, generous, patient and committed group of professionals, that treat the residents with dignity and warmth
Laura - Daughter
I have lived at Norgarden for the past 10 years, the staff and residents have been very supportive during some difficult times. I feel very fortunate to call Norgarden my home
I have never seen such friendly staff at any establishment. The food is fantastic, and the kitchen staff takes the initiative to incorporate resident suggestions into the menu
